Art of Memorising

Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) in collaboration with Mirchi Networks Pvt. Ltd., organised a seminar on ‘Art of Memorising’ on May 26, 2018 at Auditorium, Arts Museum & Gallery, Sector 10, Chandigarh. The speaker was Mr. Krishan Chahal, the world’s strongest memory man and Guinness World Record Holder.

Secretary General CMA, Mr. Hitesh Kumar Gulati expressed the need and art of memorizing while welcoming the audience. He mentioned that complex stimuli such as colors, structures, language, emotions are processed in our brains through our five senses. We place a picture of what is around us in our minds and our memories store all of this in the short term. If we need to make it a permanent fixture, and give it a resting place, we need to find a way to move it from short to long-term memory.

Mr. Krishan Chahal, the Memory King, connected with the audience marvellously in no time. He shared his journey to motivate the younger lot. Quick techniques of memorizing were shared with the attendees, keeping in view all age groups. Mr. Chahal engaged the audience by conducting a few memorizing activities to practically narrate these techniques.

This seminar was open for CMA members along with their families and a total of 130 people attended it. It was followed by a question answer session. The parents & children had key take-aways to practice this art of memorizing even further.
