An Interactive session on Rule of law and Positive Attitude was conducted on 29th July 2018. Prof Paramjit Jaswal Vice Chancellor Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law was Key Note Speaker in this session. Dr Balram Gupta Director also gave his views. The session was an eye opener. It was explained how we take pleasure in breaking the law and use it as per convenience The speakers urged every one to respect the law and show positive attitude towards the law of the country, because Laws are made for our benefits only

A Talk was organised on 21.07.2018 to appraise the members about the challenges faced by the administration in implementing the orders. Mr. Lalit Jain (IAS), Deputy Commissioner of Sirmour (HP) was the key note speaker. He talked about the expectations of the people from the administration and what challenges administration has to face in fulfilling the expectations of the society. The talk was an eye opener as we always curse the administration for all kind of problems but we don’t know how much pressure they have to face in implementing the orders and come up to the expectations of the people.

A Talent show was organised by CMA in Association with “Cornitos” powered by GJIMT at DLF Mall, Manimajra,Chandigarh.It was an open challenge show in which 25 Participants participated. They were given task to prepare snacks with the help of Vegetables & Sauces without the use of fire. Apart from culinary talent people had participated in fun games, dance and songs events also. Participation: 25 Participants and around70 persons participated in the event held at DLF Mall, Manimajra, Chandigarh.

An Interactive session on Industrial Waste Water Management was organised by CMA on 29/08/2018. Rtn. Shaju Peter had shared information about the water treatment available in country, way sand mechanism used to treat water, how much TDS should be there in drinking water, How to convert Sewage and Sea Water into Portable water.

It was a learning experience to understand what types of different boilers are being used in the Industry now a days and types of fuels being used to run the Boilers. CMA launched a Membership Growth Campaign on 15.12.2018. The motive of the Programme is to increase the membership base of the CMA. The Theme is “Each 1 Bring 1” .

CMA organised an Expert talk on “3 H Techniques for Success”. Management Guru, Life Coach and an Author Retd. Col Gursewak Singh was the key note speaker. The three “H” stands for “HAPPINESS”,”HYPNOSIS” “HEALTH”. The expert focused on importance of Happiness, its role in growth of personality and society. He explained the technique of self Hypnosis, that how self Hypnosis helps in balancing our chakras and helps us in increasing our emotional quotient. In the end the speaker focused on the importance of “HEALTH”, how our life style is disturbing our health, how people are now becoming victims of health problems due to their modern life style. How we can co relate the trio and make ourselves successful in every avenue of life.

Summary of the Event:
CMA organised a talk on alternative techniques to cure life style deceases. This event was in association with VARDHAN Ayurvedic medicines Pvt Ltd. Sh. Subhas Goyal (MD) of VARDHAN Ayurvedic medicines, A Social Activists of Nasha Mukat India also addressed the members. Dr. Vivek Ahuja (Nari Visharad) talked about the alternative techniques like ayurveda and role of food we eat and its effects on our health. He explained What kind of food should be eaten & how it has to be cooked, how much raw food can be eaten, what is the right way to drink water, how much water one person should consume in a day. He also focused on old Indian therapies to cure the life style diseases. A free diabetic check-up camp was also organised after the talk. Dr. Vivek in his talk gave tips on health keep up & precautions to be taken in maintaining good health.

CMA MEMBERS PUT THEIR STALLS AT THE EXHIBITION

Summary of the Event:
CMA Technically supported a seminar cum Exhibition for MSME units. The purpose of the event was to make MSME aware about the Energy Efficiency / Resource Efficiency /Lean Manufacturing Solutions/Cleaner production techniques & Waste water solution. Sh. Balour Singh , Executive Director of PEDA was the chief guest. It had technical sessions on Energy Efficiencies and Resource Efficiencies. Simultaneously an Exhibition was also organised in which companies manufacturing energy efficient products or products which help in improving efficiencies in any area of manufacturing had put their stalls in the exhibition.
This event was done in collaboration with PWC/ SIDBI/BEE/GEF/WORLD BANK/CII & LUB
Participation / Feedback: 70 MSME UNITS participated in technical seminar and around 150 visitors visited the exhibition, where 36 stalls were put up by the Exhibitors.
